REDWOOD SHORES, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 14, 1997--Centura Software Corporation ("Centura") (NASDAQ:CNTR) announced today that Michael Moore has been promoted to Sr. Vice President of World Wide Sales, responsible for managing the company's sales throughout the World.
This new position combines Moore's previous responsibility as VP International Operations and that of North American Sales VP, a position previously held by Douglas Domergue.

Moore has significant computer industry experience, including more than 10 years in international markets. Prior to joining Centura, Moore was with Tandem Computers for 15 years, where he held several senior sales management positions, including most recently, VP, Worldwide Sales Operations. Prior to joining Tandem, Moore held sales management positions for both Honeywell Information Systems and Durango Systems.
