ACT:Man told to drop knives then shot by cops
ACT police say they spoke to a man for 30 minutes and made numerous requests for him
to drop a knife and meat cleaver before shooting him dead this morning.
The death of the 27-year-old man in Canberra's Southern suburbs is the second police
shooting in the ACT in a little over two weeks.
